I'm very pleased! First time coming here and might return. Pork burger was good even though the pork was a little dry and warm.. it was more on the cold side than hot which makes me believe it was what they had leftover pork throughout the day. Either way, it was good. The elotitos were sooooo good! Definitely recommend. Fries were ok, also kind of cold. Staff was super friendly and patient which is always a plus. The only 'negative' thing was there were so many flies inside the building. Not really their fault but it was kind of gross to think about and see while fighting for my food lol.
Simple, no hassle dining. Gorilla is a solid and safe option if you're craving some comfy soul food. Great presentation and ease of ordering. I'd love to see expansions such as potato salads or macaroni. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
To say the food was delicious is an understatement. We had onion rings with two different sauces — the white sauce was my favorite. The crispy brisket tacos with cheese, avocado, and pickled red onions were incredible, especially paired with the amazing spicy barbecue sauce. We also had the Gorilla Burger, and it was just as delicious. We will definitely be coming back again soon.
